Bid Amount

Bid Amount lets you set a direct dollar value for a SubID instead of a percentage-based bid modifier. Use this for keywords that don't use bid modifiers.

When to Use Bid Amount:

  • For keywords that don't support percentage-based bid modifiers
  • When you want to set an exact dollar bid for a SubID

Input Format:

When entering SubIDs in bulk, use the format: SubID, Bid Amount

Examples:

s987654321, 1.00 - Sets the bid for SubID s987654321 to $1.00
s987654322, 0.50 - Sets the bid for SubID s987654322 to $0.50
1234567890, 2.25 - Sets the bid for SubID 1234567890 to $2.25

Difference from Bid Modifiers:

  • Bid Modifiers: Percentage adjustments applied to the campaign bid (e.g, +50%, -30%). You can learn more about Bid Modifiers here
  • Bid Amount: Direct dollar value that becomes the bid for that SubID (e.g., 1.00, 0.50)

Note: For keywords that use bid modifiers, users have the option to use the percentage format or Bid Modifiers (e.g., s123456789, 50%) instead of a dollar amount. The system will automatically determine which format to use based on whether the keyword supports bid modifiers.
